It's a simple thing
Something that builds up for years
It's a thing that keeps you on edge
It's all your fears
Some people hate spiders and bugs
And how they creep and crawl
From the small ones to the big ones
They watch you hiding on the wall
Many people are afraid of the dark
Because you never really know
All the things that darkness keeps secret
And all the things that don't show
Some people don't like big animals
From all the creatures from far and wide
Wolves, Tigers, Bears, Lions
All of them would hurt you till you died
Most people hate to think of blood
The thought and the sight makes skin crawl
It's not that it's dangerous
But it's disgusting all-in-all
Anything can scare a person
People have many fears
Things that can break you down
Into many shakes and tears
Death, love, poison, commitment
They are fears too
Anything from death
Too an "I love you"
Worms that crawl under your skin
Thoughts to make the blood run cold
Turn your skin pale
You are everything but feeling bold
Demons and evil things
Hiding in the dark
Nothing to lighten up your day
Or give a little spark
Lightning and thunder makes
People jump out of their skin
Everything is a battle
That some people never win
It may feel unfair and stupid
But it's more natural then it seems
It will all catch up to you
In reality or in your dreams
Everyone has a weakness
And it never goes away
It's different for some people
But some things always stay
Pain walks in one you
When you aren't prepared
So you better get ready
To get a little scared
have you read my story "The Beast of Bray Road" yet?? :3
